How to Care for Your Sterling Silver Charm

Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time. Proper care will help preserve the appearance of your charm.

• Remove the charm before swimming, showering or exercising.
• Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, creams and household chemicals.
• Keep away from chlorine and salt water.
• Store it in the provided wooden box or cotton pouch when not wearing it.
• Avoid storing sterling silver in humid environments.
• Gently polish the silver with a soft jewelry polishing cloth when necessary.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners and aggressive polishing.
• Do not use chemical silver dips, especially if the charm has an intentionally oxidized finish.
• For deeper cleaning, use mild soapy water, rinse carefully and dry completely with a soft cloth.
